Gonzales Middle Students Participate in Youth Legislature

Twenty-three 8th grade students from Gonzales Middle School participated in the 2018 Youth Legislature on April 11th and 12th. Youth Legislature is a mock-legislative session held at the Old State Capitol where students write, debate, and vote on bills that would impact Louisiana. The program teaches students about the legislative process and provides leadership and communication skills training!
